How do you clean burnt milk off of a glass cooktop?
I was boiling a combination of water and milk last night. It overflowed the pan and burned onto the glass cooktop. Once it cooled, I tried to clean it with a cooktop cleaner and a scrubbing pad. It kind of worked but not completely. I tried scrubbing with hot, soapy water and it did not work at all. Lastly, I tried to clean it with Windex and that did not work. Any suggestions? There is a gross brown stain on the cooktop and it is raised where it is burnt on.
Make the paste out of Baking soda and water and scrub. Then use the cook top cleaner to polish the surface.
The razor blade will scratch the surface and should not be used.
Windex will add toxins to the surface that will release as you cook, again a bad idea.
